Do you enjoy competitive fun? Do you want to maximize the ways that a backyard court could be enjoyed by different members of your family? A multi-sport game court is the answer.
Does your family include:
- children and adults?
- boys and girls?
- those athletically inclined and those not so blessed?
- those who enjoy competition and others who enjoy improving skill?
If you have any combination of the above, you may feel that it is impossible to make everyone in the family happy. Grand Slam Courts can build a court for you that not only satisfies family members with different athletic interests but ensures that boredom remains at bay for everyone.
Nearly all the multi-sport courts that Grand Slam Courts builds include a basketball goal or goals. But there are many variations in the way that basketball is incorporated into the courts.
One of the most popular combinations is a basketball goal with a full three-point line combined with a pickleball court. Here is an example that we built for a family in Terrell Hills. This court uses a mobile pickleball net that can be rolled into place when pickleball is in play.

Some families opt for a pickleball court with a mini basketball court with a goal at each end of the court. Here is an example. This court allows a family to play a competitive full-court game in a slightly smaller space than a regulation basketball court would require.

This court also combines pickleball and basketball. It includes fencing and lighting for nighttime play. The court uses a net that is anchored to the fencing but can be removed for basketball play.

Not every family is interested in playing pickleball. This family chose a volleyball court with the addition of a basketball goal and full three-point line.

We have had some clients that are interested in expanding beyond two sports. Here we have a court striped for tennis and pickleball with a basketball goal on one end of the court outside the boundaries for the racquet sports.

We hope these photos give you some ideas for your own multi-sport court. These are not the only options, of course. Give us a call. Challenge us to design a court for your family with the sports you desire in the space you have available. We enjoy the challenge!
