The Tennis Park at Whispering Oaks, one of the premier tennis clubs in San Antonio, will offer group pickleball lessons during the summer season beginning June 1.
Group pickleball classes for ages 9-12 are offered Sunday and Thursday mornings 9-10 a.m. and Monday and Wednesday evenings 7-8 p.m.
For adult beginners, group pickleball lessons are held Sunday and Thursday mornings 8-9 a.m. and Monday and Wednesday evenings 8-9 p.m.
Pickleball lessons at The Tennis Park are a great way for tennis players to learn to play pickleball. A membership in The Tennis Park gives you access to beautiful courts as well as league play, social gatherings, and the Clubhouse.
For families that are looking for summer learning activities for their kids, The Tennis Park offers week-long summer Tennis Camps for kids kindergarten through grade 12. Both half-day and full-day camps are available beginning the week of June 2 through August 4.
Membership is open to everyone in the San Antonio and surrounding areas. Non-members are allowed to participate in The Tennis Park’s programs and activities, however only members have complete access to the club’s courts:
- Single Tennis membership is $35 per month for an Individual.
- Family tennis membership is $45 for 2 or more residing in the same household.
- Members receive a tennis court key and can reserve courts online.
- Members receive discounts on lessons.
- Guests may accompany members and use the courts when playing with a member. Guest fees are $10, and they can be paid online or at the Clubhouse.
At the end of an exciting match, head for The Tennis Park’s Clubhouse. The Clubhouse offers:
- Indoor seating areas and a deck with picnic tables outdoors.
- Pro Shop with racquets, tennis balls, grips, hats and T-shirts for sale.
- Restroom/changing areas.
- Snack bar.
- A TV to display video of students’ work on the court.
- An information center for guests/members and offices for our pros.
